Hair Washing Procedure Steps After Hair Transplantation

When you wash your hair after hair transplantation, the hair follicles are very new. These roots are newly added to the hair and cannot fully settle. If you make a mistake at this stage, the new roots will be dislodged and they will not be able to hold on to your scalp.
Select the date to be determined by your doctor for the first hair wash after hair transplantation. Since the scalp will be dry after the hair is transplanted, plenty of lotion should be applied to the transplanted area.
You can get advice from your doctor about lotions. Soft, liquid hand and body lotions are preferred. Rinse while applying the lotion and do not rub it on your hair with heavy movements. Apply generously so that the entire scalp is covered with the lotion.
In the first wash after hair transplantation, very hot or very cold water may damage the hair follicles. Follow your doctor's advice when washing at home. It's also good to have someone at home to help you with this.

After hair transplantation, the hair should be washed with a special lotion and regular maintenance should be done for 15 days.

Do not apply substances such as spray or gel to your hair for the first 15 days. Hair may fall out in the graft area after 3 weeks, but if you don't worry about it, the hair will grow back in 8 weeks.

Always use a paraben-free natural shampoo after treatment.
You can choose non-renewable shampoo.
Avoid hard and fast movements when washing the scalp.
Wash with gentle and slow movements as if massaging your scalp with warm water.
Avoid using pressurized water
Do not lock the bathroom door for your first wash or shower if you have someone to assist you in an emergency.
